The TH8SS Hirade acoustic electric classical guitar is handcrafted in our pro series facility that has been building precision quality instruments over five decades. A sterling example of the luthier's art, these classical guitars that bear the name of Master Luthier Mass Hirade are still built by hand in our Takamine pro facility in Japan.

This guitar features a solid spruce top for powerful lows, shimmering mids and a clear high end. The solid rosewood back and sides enhance the projection and add to the overall beauty of the guitar. These instruments are designed and built to stand beside the finest classical guitars made today. The TH8SS features the legendary CTP3 CoolTube electronics for easy, detailed amplification.

How Does It Play?

We give a thorough setup to every instrument that comes through our shop. From truss rod to nut slots, fretwork to saddle height, you can rest assured we have this one dialed in. We also do a thorough inspection and check of all electronics and hardware to make sure nothing slips by!

This model ships with Takamine’s lightweight, protective semi-hard case.
