The '64 Reverb is a 5-watt, 1x8 combo amp featuring tube-driven spring reverb. This ultra-compact and gig-ready amplifier provides independent gain and master volume controls, along with a 2-band EQ for maximum flexibility. Three line outputs optimized for feeding another guitar amplifier or recording console are driven by the preamp tubes before the master volume, allowing the player to tame the on-board speaker from rock gig to bedroom rig, as well as easily utilize the all-tube outboard gain/reverb as an effects unit or direct recording preamp. Now featuring an 8-inch Jensen C8R speaker for compact, solid tone regardless of environment.

What Do We Think?

Turning up the master fully and running the gain knob around 10 or 11 o’clock will give you access to shimmering clean tones at low volumes. Noon starts to put some nice grit on the bridge of a Tele and a big classic breakup on a humbucker. Bringing the gain up above 2 o’clock turns the amp into a mean, spitty fuzz machine. The footswitchable tube-powered Spring Reverb delivers everything from light and atmospheric to dense and cavernous. Leave the pedals on the shelf and track directly through this little combo with decisive control over your wet/dry/mix signals via the amp’s three line outputs.
