This is the redesigned 2023 model, adding the ability to power an 8ohm extension cab! Played as a stand-alone combo, the Roadcase delivers an immense but well-defined low end thanks to its 12 Neo speakers and an internal power rating of 600W. Plugged into an extension cab of your choice, the amp delivers 950W of earth-shaking rumble to handle just about any size stage!

 The implementation of a 5-band EQ makes this amp particularly well-suited to 5-string basses. The lo-bass knob sits right in the vicinity of the low B string and the hi-bass in the realm of the E string. This allows you to finely-tune your EQ for anything from modern gospel to vintage Motown. Similarly, the lo-mid, hi-mid and treble knobs give you perfect control of the contour and presence of the upper registers.

In addition to its power and precision, the BG-800 also boasts a range of useful features, including an active/passive mute switch, FX send return with Blend control, stereo aux input 3.5 mini jack, headphone out jack, XLR Balanced line out with ground lift switch, and line in and line out to allow multiples of BG 800s to be slaved to one master BG800.

Transporting the Roadcase is a breeze thanks to its incredible power to weight ratio and ergonomically designed handling. And with its ability to work from 100-volts ac to 240 volts ac and automatically adapt to line voltage, the BG800 is the perfect choice for musicians on the go.

Phil Jones includes a fitted slip cover with this amp, and the heavy duty tilt-back casters make it a breeze to move in and out of the venue.
