For those of you who like to explore the depths of extended range tunings, the LTD Deluxe M-1007 Baritone is a big contender for your next guitar. Offering set-thru construction for unobstructed access to the highest frets, the M-1007 baritone is a seven-string guitar built at a full 27” baritone scale, allowing for extreme downtuning while maintaining excellent string tension.

It offers a comfortable and resonant alder body with an outstanding quilted maple top, and an extra-thin u-shaped three-piece maple neck. It has a bound Macassar ebony fingerboard with offset mother-of-pearl dot inlays and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, and a bound matching-finish reverse headstock. Components on the M-1007 Baritone include a Floyd Rose 1000 SE double-locking tremolo with stainless steel screws and precise Grover tuners.

Its sound is powered by a set of direct-mounted Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck), with push-pull control to select voicings and black nickel covers to match this guitar’s outstanding aesthetics. Each pickup offers two voices. With the ceramic bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the ultimate high-output ceramic humbucker bridge pickup tone… crisp, searing crunch, tight bass with no mud, and a growl.

Voice 2 delivers modern passive attack performance that has superbly organic distortion characteristics with outstanding dynamics and response. The alnico neck pickup’s Voice 1 is Fishman’s modern active high-output tone, offering the ideal active alnico sound: full, round, and boosted, but with unprecedented articulation and dynamics. Voice 2 gives you the crisp, clean and fluid neck humbucker tone you’ve always wanted.

We give a thorough setup to every instrument that comes through our shop. From truss rod to tremolo, pickup heights to intonation, you can rest assured we have this one dialed in. We also do a thorough inspection and check of all electronics and hardware to make sure nothing slips by!
