What's the deal with refurbished?

This instrument was either an overstock or was deemed by the factory to have an imperfection. Check the description to see exactly why this instrument is considered refurbished. The guitar is not stamped used or 2ND and the original serial number is present and not tampered with. These are like new with little or zero play wear!

Based on the S-200 T-Bird reissue, the T-Bird ST features the same unique, asymmetrical shape, but with a simplified feature set. Minimalist players will appreciate the added stability and reliability of a stopbar tailpiece and pared down electronic controls, while enjoying the T-Bird’s retro vibe. The T-Bird ST's dual LB-1 Little Bucker pickups are replicas of Guild’s 1960s smaller size humbucking pickups, and offer a range of tones well-suited for a variety of playing styles and genres. The T-Bird ST features a vintage C shape set mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays.

This particular instrument has some irregular marks on the fretboard on the treble side of the 6th fret, this is purely cosmetic and can't be felt while playing. Aside from what we have described, this instrument is in mint condition.

How Does It Play?

These Guild T-Birds play really nicely. We have given this one a good pro setup to make sure it is playing nice and low without any buzz, measuring at 5/64" on the bass side and 4/64" on the treble. The Guild Little Buckers sound phenomenal and are very inspiring to play. They have a nice throaty, vintage quality that begs for classic rock ‘n’ roll or swampy blues lines with the overdrive turned up, and they are transparent and sparkly with the drive dialed down.
