What's the deal with refurbished?
This instrument was either an overstock or was deemed by the factory to have an imperfection. Check the description to see exactly why this instrument is considered refurbished. We scrutinize every instrument we sell and pass along all information from the refurbisher so that you know exactly what you are getting. The guitar is not stamped used or 2ND and the original serial number is present and not tampered with. These are like new with little or zero play wear!
- Left-Handed Model -
With its comfortable body and distinctive voice, the M-120E provides excellent balance and a delicate tone. Featuring solid African mahogany top, back and sides, the M-120E’s 24 ¾” scale length, vintage shaped Guild neck, and 1¾” nut width make this concert size guitar easy to play. The Guild/Fishman AP1 pickup allows for expert amplification of this small-bodied guitar’s incredibly rich sound. Additional features include a bone nut and saddle, and period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard. A mother-of-pearl rosette and Guild’s iconic Chesterfield headstock emblem reminiscent of 1960s models complete the package. The M-120E includes Guild’s new lightweight polyfoam case.
This particular instrument has a couple of tiny penpoint-width depressions in the finish in one spot on the top of the body and a small discolored spot in the finish on the neck heel (where the neck joins the body). We have included a close-up photo of each imperfection. Those penpoint-sized depressions are very difficult to see in person. We had to catch them under the strong glare of photography lighting to catch them on camera.
How Does It Play?
This is a sweet little concert-size guitar that has plenty of warmth thanks to its all-solid mahogany body. We have given it a good setup to make sure it plays nice and easy up and down the neck. And of course the Fishman electronics ensure it is larger than life when plugged into a PA.
The Guild polyfoam case pictured is brand new and included! Lightweight and easy to carry, it doesn’t sacrifice at all on its ability to protect your guitar and absorb accidental bumps and drops.
