Boutique done right! This used 2021 Ivison Hurricane ’59 in Aged Goldtop has a Classic vintage neck shape, resonant balanced mahogany body with maple carved top and very articulate Sunbear pickups, and the perfect amount of light aging and play wear make this guitar a real standout.

Headstock is in good overall condition with a light amount of factory aging. There are some slight dings from string changing on the face. Back of the headstock is missing a chip (shown in photos) but does not have any structural damage, repairs or cracks. The chip is actually in the case if you want to do a little touchup. Frets have been dressed by our in-house tech and have lots of life left in them with no fret buzz throughout.Top of body is in good overall condition with light checking. There are some dings which are most likely not original but add to the appearance of the light factory aging. The rear edge of the body appears to have some play wear in the area the guitar sits on the leg. The back of the neck is 100% smooth, free of any dings.

How Does It Play?

We have given this guitar a full setup by our inhouse tech. Action is 4/64 on the low E at the 12^th fret and 3/64 on the high E string, setup 10-46 and completely free of fret buzz.

Original hard case included along with tags and accessories. There is a second pickguard and pickguard ring included, still with factory plastic in more of a parchment color vs the cream set that is installed.
