What Does Ben Think?

This exclusive model is a real head turner visually and sonically. This guitar reminds me of a Rickenbacker both in its finish as well as its jangly characteristic, of which both the chambered construction and Ellisonic P-90s are surely contributors.

The neck position has a full, rich bottom and with a sparkly top end. The electronics feature a volume control, a tone control, and a bass roll-off which gives this guitar a wide dynamic range. Clear, powerful punch with a perfect bite. The bridge pick up is big and aggressive without being harsh. The middle position is a perfect balance with the right amount of quack.

This guitar is another knockout design by Novo. A familiar vintage vibe with modern versatility, consistency, and attention to detail. I personally think this would be a great rhythm guitar in a multi-guitar live setting, or wonderful addition to a studio arsenal.

How Does It Play?

The fretwork on this guitar is flawless. Each note rings clearly. The neck is a full chunky C with a worn-in feel down the back. The action is low without fretbuzz.
