This Peavey T-40 is serial #00508515, dating to 1980 and in excellent playing condition. We have bypassed the phase switch which was inoperable, but all other electronics are original and function cleanly. The hardware is in good operating condition as well. The frets show some wear but play very nicely with no intonation issues.

How Does It Play?

Then truss rod operates very well and the bass sets up with action measuring 7/64” on the low E string at the 12th fret and 6/64” on the high E. There is light buzz up past the 12th fret but nothing that chokes out the notes.

The hard case pictured is included, along with case keys and original owners manual for the bass! The case has one latch that doesn't click, but the other two are good and the hinges work as well.
