This Lion Deluxe features a full baritone 27” scale length, mahogany body, roasted flame maple neck and ebony board for that perfect touch of enunciation. The Lollar Imperial humbuckers sound huge yet capture every nuance. The guitar sports a very lightly-aged Charcoal Frost Sparkle finish on both body and headstock.

How Does It Play?

The setup work coming out of Avi’s shop is impeccable. The string action measures just 4/64” on the low B at the 12th fret and all the way down to 3/64” on the high B. There is no fretbuzz. The fret ends are smooth and nicely rounded. The nut slots are cut to perfection and the guitar feels incredibly nimble under the fingers even in spite of its baritone scale and string gauge.
