Offered in the US only through Guitars To Be Played, we are incredibly excited to announce a special Limited run of Fano JM4 Standards!

This run features Lollar Thunderbirds, Schaller tuners and a variety of color and pickguard options not normally offered on the Standard series. With a full 34” scale length, the Lollar Thunderbird pickups are tight, responsive, and big on the low end. If you appreciate a bass that is thick and punchy yet incredibly articulate all at the same time, this one will quickly become your go-to. Double stops and chords retain excellent clarity; single notes are full-bodied and completely gratifying. The tone knob dials in the punch and “bite” and is musical throughout its entire sweep.

How Does It Play?

The broken-in feel grabs you right from the get-go. The arm contour is perfectly smooth and silky, not sticky. The same can be said for the back of the neck. The action is low and the frets are perfectly dressed. You won’t be afraid to put a little attitude into your playing with this one, either. It will definitely keep up. The Thunderbird pickups remain tight and defined no matter what you throw at them!
