This bass is a showstopper with classic Olympic White finish, 34” scale-length maple neck with block inlays and binding, and a custom 5-ply black pickguard with aluminum control plate. Only JM4 pickguard done this way to date! The tones coming from the FanoBird pickups are thick and delicious through the lows and mids but always balanced with clarity and precision. Playing up the neck? Still warm and tight. The tone knob dials in the punch and “bite” and is musical throughout its entire sweep. These pickups sounds killer through a PA and in-ears alike.

How Does It Play?

Another excellent neck from Fano. They nailed the neck profile on the JM4 and if you dig a medium jazz bass neck (not to thick, not too thin) then this one is going to hit home with you. It has just enough shoulder to fill it out and the playing experience is comfortable, broken-in and smooth.
