This custom JM4 features a Seafoam Green finish in medium-heavy distress over 3-Tone Sunburst. Tied together with a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, it is a complete show stopper. It turned out every bit as cool as we could have hoped! The maple fretboard features a full 34” scale length and plays oh-so-easy from first fret to last. The tones coming from the FanoBird pickups are thick and delicious through the lows and mids but always balanced with clarity and precision. Playing up the neck? Still warm and tight. The tone knob dials in the punch and “bite” and is musical throughout its entire sweep. These pickups sounds killer through a PA and in-ears alike.

How Does It Play?

These come in setup nicely straight from Fano, but we still do our due diligence of a thorough check and a nit-picky setup. The worn finish on the back of the neck feels just right from the moment you first pick it up until you (finally) put it down. You won’t have any trouble feeling at home with this one for a four-hour gig.
