The LTD MH Series combines design elements of ESP’s H/Horizon models, like its archtop body, and from the M/Mirage guitars, like its inline headstock and extra-thin u-shaped neck. The result is a guitar that can do no wrong for any style of music. The MH-1000NT features set-thru construction at 25.5” scale, allowing for smooth and fast access to the highest frets. It offers a mahogany body with flamed maple top, finished in a translucent Charcoal burst finish to allow the figured wood to be a highlight, with white binding on the body, neck, and reversed headstock.

The MH-1000NT has a sturdy thin u-shaped three-piece maple neck, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with offset block inlays and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Black hardware and components on this excellent guitar include a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string thru body, LTD locking tuners, and a set of direct-mounted Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck), with push-pull control to select voicings and black nickel covers to match this guitar’s outstanding aesthetics.

With the ceramic bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the ultimate high-output ceramic humbucker bridge pickup tone… crisp, searing crunch, tight bass with no mud, and a growl. Voice 2 delivers modern passive attack performance that has superbly organic distortion characteristics with outstanding dynamics and response. The alnico neck pickup’s Voice 1 is Fishman’s modern active high-output tone, offering the ideal active alnico sound: full, round, and boosted, but with unprecedented articulation and dynamics. Voice 2 gives you the crisp, clean and fluid neck humbucker tone you’ve always wanted.

How Does It Play?

We give a thorough setup to every instrument that comes through our shop. From truss rod to nut slots, pickup heights to intonation, you can rest assured we have this one dialed in. We also do a thorough inspection and check of all electronics and hardware to make sure nothing slips by!
