This 2005 PRS 513 Brazilian Rosewood Neck is in excellent condition. We have carefully photographed the small signs of age and play wear. On the top: some very faint pick scratches between the pickups, an 1/8” round scuff in the gloss of the finish near the volume knob and some mild tarnishing of the bridge. There is a tiny ding on the tip of the headstock.
The most notable sign of use consists of a few small scuffs in the finish on the rear edge of the body in one area. And lastly, there is some belt buck rash on the plastic tremolo cavity cover and the mildest bit which carries over into the finish nearby. We have taken all close-up photos under strong lighting in order to show all blemishes without question. In reality, most will seem more subtle in person.
How Does It Play?
All electronics and hardware operate smoothly and cleanly. The back of the neck is smooth and flawless, as are the frets. They are full and round without any divots. The string action measures 4/64” at the 12th fret without buzz.
